It was a fun afternoon for 39 players all trying to win a prize in the lotto.
Chris was the ‘caller’ assisted by Helen writing the numbers on a white board.
The numbers called prompted a guess as to which French department each represented, such as 85 for the Vendée.
There were laughter and discussion and mid-afternoon a choice of galette and cider or fruit juice were served by Nadine, Lynn and Sharon.
