On Saturday night 7 teams of players battled, agonised and laughed their way through 6 quiz rounds. The final scores were interesting in that 5 teams scored the same number of points so after 2 tie breaker rounds a final question elicited the winning team. They were Claire, Geoff, Yves, Dominique, Gérard and Martine.
Nelly and Sharon had created an apero dinatoire that was truly top notch. They served this to tables together with drinks. Cakes for the Café Gourmand were made by Association members and were delicious. Players appreciated the menu.
Chris and Lynn wrote the 7 rounds of very challenging questions and Nadine and Helen read them out, corrected and gave the sometimes-disputed answers!
An evening of fun and laughter accompanied by good food.
